Thanksgiving has just not been the same without celebrating your birthday each year. This would have been your 69th today 11/21/2020... this year we will celebrate Trinon's 50th on Thanksgiving the 26th!!! Can you believe it? Missing you more than ever Tommy since mom passed. Thirteen years mom waited to be reunited with you... knowing the reunion was going to be glorious somehow made it a little bit easier to let go for both of us. Happy 67th Birthday Tom!! I hope you are getting all the angel food cake you desire.... squished together and as sweet as I remember YOU Halloween hasn't been nearly as fun since you went into the light and Thanksgiving will never be the same with you and Daddy gone. Twelve years and not a day goes by without a thought or prayer sent to you my sweet little brother. The moon is waning from full tonight just as it was the night you let go and let God take you in Her arms. Still working on our health as you requested and winning for the most part. Getting old is not for sissies, as they say. Mom wakes up and is always surprised she's still alive. Michael and I hear her singing in the morning... it puts a smile on our faces. Eleven years without you… hard to believe. So much has happened but I know you are still with us Tommy. Michael and I retired officially this year. Closed down the family business started by dad in the 1950s... has freed us up to take care of Katy's two boys twice a week so we are happy to spend so much time with them. We moved mom in with us in June. She’s really happy here and we are enjoying her as well. Riley started High School today; TC is now a Junior with a bright future ahead of himself. Our 5 other grands are growing and thriving. The youngest, Matix turned 3 last month. I think he’ll be our last… can’t imagine no more babies to care for. His four year old brother Nixon looks at your picture and knows where you are. He tells me all the time we will all be together again. Michael has fallen in love with surf fishing… it’s fun to sit with him and think of all the time you spent at the beach and how much you enjoyed being outdoors. Carrying on the family camping tradition and working on staying healthy in our senior years. Love YOU baby brother. Linda & Family

Nine years have passed... think about YOU every day. We are enjoying another great nephew of yours, probably our last grandchild, one year old Matix Michael. He’s blond and blue eyed like his mommy Katy. I often see you and dad in him as he waits patiently for me to glance at him so he can flash a huge smile and squeal with joy from the attention. Michael and I are enjoying all 7 of our grandchildren as I know you would have done and continue to make our health a #1 priority as you requested. There’s a full moon tonight so I will be singing “I’ll Be Seeing You” just as I did the night you let go and let God take you into the light. Tom- Was thinking of you this weekend. Weird swell came in and got unexpected session on the SUP. I sometimes feel like you are out there with me. I've been seeing lots of VW buses, but none are as cool as yours was. I miss you.

Eight years... so much has happened. You have another great-nephew, as you well know. I'm keeping "Uncle Tom's" legacy alive each time the family gets together and reminisces about "The Good Ole' Days." Like today, Katy & Ryan hosted a pot-luck brunch while we cheered on UCLAs football team and we all talked about the high surf at The Wedge which brought back so many memories of running down there together and watching in awe. Biggest surf in 10 years they said, and all I could think of was you and how much you loved the ocean. Some day, little brother, we will all swim in the same waters again. Transformed but united in spirit... until then we remember and grieve your loss but rejoice in the knowledge that bits and pieces of YOU lives on in those we love the most. Seven years ago we spent your last night here on this Earthly plane together… I think about that a lot and wouldn’t trade a minute of that long night nor would I have wanted to be any where else. A week ago the family sat in front of a campfire at our annual camping trip and watched a full moon rise slowly over Pismo Beach. I know you were there in spirit especially when memories of Uncle Tom and Refugio were brought up. Mom is taking very good care of her health and enjoying life. You would be so proud of your nephews/nieces and all their children… I see both you and daddy in all of them. Thanks for watching over baby Nixon before he got here. What a treasure he is. It's hard to believe six years ago I sat with you and sang "I'll Be Seeing You...." Just minutes later you took flight and I watched the moon rise large and bright on the way home. Last night at our final family summer bonfire a full moon hung high over the waves and illuminated the surf as I scattered some of yours and daddy's ashes in front of your great-nieces and nephews who only know you through our memories. Today I will celebrate as if it's the first and last day of my life in honor of your wishes Tommy... I've learned to face my problems and overcome them. Remembering that...
